Mom and Son Were Found Dead in an Apartment in Minnesota. Police Think It Was a Murder-suicide

In a case that is being investigated by the authorities as a possible murder-suicide, the bodies of a woman and her adult son were discovered in an apartment in Minnesota.

The bodies, both of which had been shot, were discovered by officers on Thursday, June 27, while they were performing a welfare check at the apartment of the son, who was 30 years old and lived in the northeastern section of Rochester, according to a statement released by the Rochester Police Department.

Both the son and his mother, who is 54 years old, have not been identified in public by the authorities. On Friday, the authorities issued a press release stating that they were still in the process of notifying family members.

According to the authorities, the mother and son’s bodies had been lying in the area for some time when they were discovered by the policemen.

It has been reported that officers removed a firearm “from the son’s body,” and authorities have stated that they are not looking for any further suspects.
