New SSDI Payments of $1,539 Now Available: Check If You Meet These Requirements

0

New SSDI payments are on their way to eligible Social Security claimants in the United States. These new checks and direct deposits will be available only to those who have submitted and received approval.

Of course, remaining eligible is critical, and reporting any health improvements is required. Otherwise, it may lead to unwanted and unpleasant overpayments. None of these SSDI payments reflect the 2025 COLA; however, the new value will be revealed on October 10, 2024.

Next new SSDI payout from October 1 to 8

The Social Security Administration has stated that certain Disability Insurance claimants will receive payments on October 3, 2024. However, you can only receive one of these payments on the third if:

If you began collecting benefits before May 1997 or are receiving Social Security and Supplemental Security Income, you did not violate SSA guidelines.

The next SSDI payment, on October 3, can offer claimants with an average amount of $1,539. If you were a high earner, you may receive a lot more. However, low-wage earners may receive payouts that are lower than the average. They may be eligible for supplemental security income. For your knowledge, the SSI will be issued on October 1, 2024.

SSDI payments from October 9–26

Following the Social Security Disability Insurance payment on October 3, there will be three more paydays. These are generally referred to as the Wednesday checks. To advance to the first, second, or third round, you must meet the birth date criterion.

For example, if you were born between the first and tenth of any month, your SSDI will be given on October 9. If you were born after that date and are on SSDI, you could receive your payments on October 16 or 23.

  • Disability Insurance on October 16: Birthday from 11 to 20
  • Disability Insurance on October 23: Birthday from 21 to 31

In terms of maximum amounts, the Disability Insurance payout can offer recipients a check totaling $3,822. So, it is a significant payment, but few people may obtain it since a disability prevents them from doing so, as you must work for 35 years in SSA-covered occupations while earning the taxable maximum amount.
