Nonprofit Acquires Home of Convicted Murderer Who Killed Wife and Two Arizona Children

The old house of Chad Daybell in Idaho now belongs to someone else.

Earlier this year, the apocalyptic writer was found guilty of three murders—including two Arizona children. His two children by his present wife Lori Vallow were Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow.

Daybell was also found guilty of the murder of Tammy Daybell, his first wife.

Daybell’s defense counsel bought their Idaho house during this case, and following his trial was put for sale.

The Fremont County Assessor’s Office reports that last week the new local organization SJ Healing Crossroads bought the house.

Based on their fundraiser, the group intends to demolish the house and transform the land into a center of hope, healing, and peace. They also intend to assist traumatized victims.

Currently, among nine persons on death row in Idaho, Chad Daybell was sentenced to death in this case.

Currently in custody in Arizona under accusations of the murder of her former husband, Charles Vallow, Lori Vallow was also found guilty of the murders of her children.

Investigators think dark religious views held by Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow drove the crimes.
