North Texas Man Indicted on Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking Charges After Holding 15-year-old Girl Captive
A 23-year-old North Texas man accused of holding a young girl from Frisco against her will was indicted this week on charges of sexual assault and human trafficking.
Frisco police had asked Denton police for aid in finding the missing 15-year-old girl. According to investigators, the victim described being in Denton with a man who refused to allow her to leave his apartment.
Officials said they used the information she supplied to find the victim in an apartment in the 1700 block of West Oak Street.
The defendant, Jordan Hagen, and the 15-year-old victim were discovered at the residence, according to Denton police. He was apprehended without incident, and she was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
During the inquiry, police discovered that Hagen and the victim met on Chatib, an online chat room, and corresponded using Session, a messaging app, officials said.
On Thursday, November 7, Hagen was charged with six felony charges, including two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, human trafficking, indecency with a child, online solicitation of a minor, and possession and promotion of lewd visual images.
Hagen has been in the Denton County Jail since his arrest in August, with a bond set at $325,000.
