November 2024 SSI and SSDI Payment Details: Payment Dates and Amounts Explained

The last SSDI payment was received on October 23, 2024. However, millions of Social Security users are already preparing for the next SSI or Disability Insurance direct transfer or check.

According to the Social Security Administration, the average SSI payout is $698, while the average SSDI payment is around $1,539. Payment amounts differ substantially across beneficiaries according on their employment history, filing age, and wages or resources.

Next SSI and SSDI Payments

Although Supplemental Security Income and Social Security Disability Insurance paydays are typically on distinct dates, they can occasionally overlap.

This typically occurs when the Social Security payment must be sent ahead of schedule and the preceding business day falls on the first of the month. This is exactly what will occur on November 1.

All SSI beneficiaries will get their next payment on November 1, 2024, assuming they remain eligible. To get your SSDI payment by November 1, you must:

  • be receiving SSI, in addition to SSDI,
  • Have received benefits before May 1997.
