CNS News–Tragedy struck a close-knit Ohio community as Mark Robinette, a devoted 55-year-old vocational pastor at Foundation Church in Mount Sterling, made the ultimate sacrifice, losing his life while attempting to rescue his two sons from a harrowing house fire on a fateful Tuesday.
This heartbreaking incident unfolded, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and revered Robinette for his selfless contributions. Mark Robinette, well-regarded within the church and the community, had successfully rescued his wife and two other children from the engulfing blaze, as reported by his brother Paul on Facebook.
However, the valiant pastor succumbed to the flames while attempting to rescue two of his sons, 17-year-old Gideon Robinette and 10-year-old Liam Robinette. The incident resulted in three people sustaining injuries, but they were fortunately released from a local hospital later that morning, marking a small glimmer of relief amid the tragedy.
