Michigan State Police said they had found the bodies of people who had been looking for Dee Warner, a 52-year-old woman who hadn’t been seen since April 2021.

The body parts were found on a property in Lenawee County that belonged to her husband, Dale Warner. In November, Warner was caught and charged with open murder and tampering with evidence in connection with Dee Warner’s death and disappearance.

MI State Police said in a statement, “The remains are currently being recovered and there will be a great deal of work and testing done before identification is made.”

“The family of Dee Warner has been contacted and advised of the findings.”

The bodies were found on the property while a search order was being carried out, the police said.

A family source told both WTOL 11 and WTVG that the family had been told that a body had been found on the property in a tank that holds anhydrous ammonia.

Crime Stoppers of Lenawee County says that Dee Warner was last seen at her home on Munger Road in Lenawee County early on April 25, 2021.

It was “surreal” for Rikkell Bock, Dee Warner’s grown daughter, to hear about the find online.

In a Facebook post that went with the Michigan State Police statement, she said, “We can now set our beautiful mother to rest.” “This isn’t over; it’s just getting started.” Even more will be done to make sure she gets the justice she deserves.
