Police in Sacramento Say an 18-year-old on a Scooter Was Taken to the Hospital After Being Hit by a Car
SACRAMENTO – Police say that a woman was hit by a car while riding a bike in Sacramento on Wednesday night. She is now in the hospital.
On or around 6:15 p.m., the call came in near where Franklin Boulevard and Cosumnes River Boulevard meet.
Detectives say the 18-year-old woman is in very bad shape.
The car’s driver stayed at the scene of the accident.
It looked like the road would be stopped until late Wednesday night. We don’t know what caused the crash.
A doctor who was a student at UC Davis was killed last week when her electric scooter was hit by a car in east Sacramento.
