Seven Arrested in Mississippi Drug Bust Following Months-Long Investigation
The Pearl Police Department has arrested seven men following a lengthy drug investigation, which uncovered significant amounts of illegal narcotics, including crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl. The arrests mark a major success in the department’s ongoing efforts to curb drug-related crime in the region.
The operation, led by the Pearl Police narcotics unit with support from the Richland and Ridgeland Police Departments and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, targeted the sale and distribution of various controlled substances. Authorities seized multiple illegal drugs, including pharmaceuticals, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, during the operation.
“This is part of a larger campaign aimed at reducing illegal drug sales in our community,” said a Pearl Police Department spokesperson, adding that efforts to tackle drug-related crime will continue.
The following individuals have been arrested and charged:
- Bruce Smith (Pearl, MS): Two counts of Sale of a Controlled Substance
- Joseph Rabon (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance within 1,500 feet of a church
- David Bradly Scott (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance within 1,500 feet of a school
- Ryan Harper (Pearl, MS): Two counts of Sale of a Controlled Substance within 1,500 feet of a movie theater
- Jonvel Lewis (Pearl, MS): Two counts of Sale of a Controlled Substance
- Kaleb Ingram (Pearl, MS): Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Nicholas Sanpaulin (Pearl, MS): Sale of a Controlled Substance
