Son of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Seen in Courtroom as Father Faces Sex Crimes Indictment
Shortly after appearing in Manhattan’s federal court Tuesday morning, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ oldest son, Christian “King” Combs, led a group of seven men to the fifth-floor arraignment chamber, where they each demanded a copy of the music mogul’s indictment.
A three-count federal indictment charging the father with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, deception or coercion, and transportation to participate in prostitution was unsealed at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17.
Seated in an orange chair in the arraignment room, surrounded by the other men, the younger Combs was seen reading the 14-page indictment detailing the claims against his 54-year-old father.
Each of the men silently leafed through their paper copy of the indictment, in which prosecutors allege Sean Combs coerced women into “highly orchestrated performances,” which he called “Freak Offs,” and which he “arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded,” according to the indictment obtained by PEOPLE.
The indictment further claims that the singer used the recordings as “collateral to ensure the continued obedience and silence of the victims,” threatening their “careers and livelihoods, including if they resisted participating in Freak Offs.”
During the alleged “Freak Offs,” which also allegedly included sex workers, prosecutors claim in the indictment that “Combs distributed a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant,” and that afterward, “Combs and the victims typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”
Prosecutors claim that during the “Freak Offs” and other occasions, the singer “hit, kicked, threw objects at, and dragged victims, at times, by their hair,” causing injuries “that took days or weeks to heal.”
According to the accusation, federal officials recovered “various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant” from his Miami and Los Angeles houses in March.
Combs was apprehended late Monday night at a hotel in Manhattan. On Tuesday, his defense filed a proposed bail deal offering $50 million to keep him out of jail.
In April, his eldest son, who is not named in the federal complaint, was accused of sexual assault alongside him in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by Grace O’Marcaigh.
Aaron Dyer’s lawyer, according to HotNewHipHop.com, labeled her claims “manufactured lies and irrelevant facts.”
