South Carolina Investigators Release Suspect Images in Store Owner Shooting as Search Intensifies
DENMARK, S.C. — State police are looking for the person they think shot the owner of a store in South Carolina earlier this month.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said it looked into the shooting because Denmark Police Chief Leroy Grimes asked them to on August 6. Around 8 p.m. that day, there was a shooting at Denmark Grocery on 59 Magnolia Avenue in Bamburg, which the police were looking into. Police said the store owner was shot and taken to the hospital to get better. The store wasn’t robbed, and no one got hurt.
Thursday, SLED shared pictures of the person they thought shot the person. Call 866-472-8477 or email [email protected] if you know anything about the shooting or the person who did it.
