Steven Wright Charged With Child Sexual Assault in Forney; Police Urge Potential Victims to Come Forward

Steven Wright, a suspect, was detained on Friday and charged with sexual assault of a child in connection with an incident on October 27, according to Forney police.

According to the Forney Police Department, detectives think Wright supplied alcohol to kids during the incident, resulting in the victim’s sexual assault.

During the investigation, the Forney Police Department collaborated with the Kaufman County Street Crimes Task Force and issued a search warrant at a property on 500 Rosewood Drive for evidence linked to the crime.

According to Forney Police, detectives suspect there may be further victims and are looking for information regarding this crime and any others involving Wright.
