Teen Actor Hudson Meek, Who Appeared in ‘baby Driver,’ Died After Falling From a Moving Vehicle

WVTM, a CNN affiliate, reported that Hudson Meek, a 16-year-old actor who participated in the film “Baby Driver,” passed away last week after falling from a moving vehicle in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.

During the fall that occurred on December 19, the adolescent experienced blunt force trauma. He was subsequently hospitalized to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries on December 21. This information was provided by the Jefferson County Coroner’s office to the CNN station WVTM.

A post on his Instagram account reads, “His sixteen years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.” This is a statement that is taken from the post.

In the film “Baby Driver,” which was released in 2017, the young actor had a number of acting and voice-over roles, the most notable of which was his portrayal of a younger version of Ansel Elgort’s character Baby.

Additionally, Meek provided the voice for the main character in the children’s show “Badanamu Stories,” which, according to IMDb, explores topics that are pertinent to toddlers. Furthermore, he has had appearances in a number of television episodes, such as “Found” on NBC and “Legacies” on The CW, in addition to the recently released thriller “The School Duel.”

The teenager was characterized as “reflective and thoughtful” in the obituary that was written for Meek. He was also a fan of the outdoors and a travel enthusiast.

According to the obituary, “He had a passion for snow skiing and was able to easily navigate the most difficult trails that no one else in the family would have the courage to attempt.” The lake, where he could wakeboard and tubing, was one of his favorite places to be.

It has been reported by WTVM that the Vestavia Hills Police Department is continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Meek’s suicide. CNN has put in a request for additional information regarding the incident to the Vestavia Hills police department.
