Willis Faces Accusations in Trump Prosecutor Relationship: Court Filing Bombshell

0

Mike Roman, along with Donald Trump, has been accused of election fraud in Fulton County, Georgia. He recently submitted a filing in the case on a Friday.

According to the Washington Post, Wade’s lawyers assert that his former law partner, Terrence Bradley, will testify that their romantic relationship began prior to his appointment as a prosecutor in 2021.

“The romantic relationship between Wade and Willis started before Willis took office as the district attorney for Fulton County, Georgia in January 2021,” states the filing.

Therefore, Bradley can confirm that Willis entered into an agreement with Wade after they had already started a romantic relationship, which contradicts Wade’s statement in his affidavit that they didn’t begin dating until 2022.

The filing is a part of Roman’s efforts to disqualify Willis, Wade, and the district attorney’s office from the case. Roman argues that their affair has created a professional conflict of interest that has affected the former President’s election interference case.

Last week, Willis confessed to having a “personal relationship” with Nathan Wade. Roman has previously accused Wade of using a portion of the $654,000 he earned from the Trump case on extravagant gifts and vacations with his superior.

Willis strongly asserted that there were no valid reasons to dismiss the Trump case. She maintained that the romantic relationship only began in 2022, long after she had appointed Wade to oversee the prosecution in 2021.

However, Bradley, a former friend and business associate of Wade, could challenge that assertion by presenting evidence that they were involved in a romantic relationship as early as 2020, according to Roman.

Willis-Wade Relationship Uncovered Amid Legal Maneuvers

ATLANTA, GA – JANUARY 12: Special prosecutor Nathan Wade speaks during a motions hearing for former U.S. President Donald Trump’s election interference case at the Lewis R. Slaton Courthouse on January 12, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to Bradley’s confirmation, it is suggested in the filing that if Willis and Wade were involved romantically prior to her assuming office, Wade may have given Willis various gifts and benefits as a significant other.

“Naturally, the State and Wade have filed motions to quash Mr. Roman’s subpoenas in an effort to impede the discovery of these facts.”

The explosive documents have surfaced only 48 hours following the district attorney’s office’s attempt to prevent Roman’s subpoenas for Willis, Wade, Bradley, and others from testifying under oath at the upcoming Feb. 15 hearing.

The filing also provides additional information regarding Willis and Wade’s vacations and travels together. It reveals that Wade generously funded multiple trips, including two cruises to the Bahamas and a visit to Belize.

Roman had previously revealed other trips the duo took together to Miami and Northern California, but Willis argued that they took turns covering travel expenses.

According to Roman’s filing, the system faces a breakdown when a prosecutor’s personal fame and publicity overshadow their public duty. This situation not only undermines the public’s confidence in the process but also threatens their confidence in the outcome.

Roman has emphasized Willis and Wade’s relationship as a central issue in his efforts to have the election interference case against him and Trump dismissed. He argues that this presents a significant conflict of interest and accuses Willis of financial misconduct.

Willis dismissed the allegations as sensational and suggested that they were intended to attract media attention. Wade ended his 26-year marriage on the same day he was appointed as a special prosecutor in 2021. However, the divorce case is still pending and awaits a final resolution.

Former president Trump, the current GOP presidential frontrunner, is charged with more than a dozen felonies along with 14 co-defendants for their alleged efforts to overturn his 2020 loss in The Peach State to President Biden.
