Heartbreak: 6-Month-Old Girl Who Was Shot While in Her Father’s Arms, 2 Ohio Men Are Charged!
CNS News– A Harrowing Incident in Garfield Heights, Ohio, has left a six-month-old girl injured after she was struck by gunfire while being held by her father. The trial for two men accused of perpetrating the shooting was set to commence, shedding light on the disturbing event that occurred in September.
According to reports from WOIO in Cleveland, the shooting transpired as the infant’s father held her, resulting in both him and the child sustaining gunshot wounds. The father suffered a gunshot wound to the hip, while the baby girl was struck by gunfire.
Identified as Khayree Sullivan, 23, and Kameren White, 22, the two men were arrested and indicted on charges related to the shooting. They face five counts of felonious assault and three counts of discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises.
While the father received medical treatment for his injuries, the six-month-old girl was airlifted to the hospital for urgent care. Thankfully, the family reports that she has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
