CNS NewsFormer WWE Hall of Famer Tamara Lynn “Sunny” Sytch, known for her wrestling career, has been relocated to a state prison for women in Florida. Sytch, 52, was transferred from the Florida Women’s Reception Center in Ocala to the Lowell Correctional Institution earlier this month.

This move follows her sentencing to 17 years in prison on charges related to a fatal drunk driving incident. Sytch’s conviction stems from a tragic crash on March 25, 2022, resulting in the death of Julian Lafrancis Lasseter. She pleaded no contest to charges including DUI manslaughter, driving with a suspended license, and multiple counts of DUI causing damage.

Prosecutors revealed that Sytch had a history of DUI arrests and convictions, including three prior incidents in 2015. The Lowell Correctional Institution, where Sytch is now housed, offers various academic, vocational, and substance abuse programs to its 968 inmates.
