A press statement from the New York State Police said that they arrested a 68-year-old man from Indian Lake, NY for aggravated driving while drunk. Troopers say they were called to Indian Lake late Sunday night about a crash that damaged property.
According to State Police, the suspect was driving a 2020 Jeep Compass when he lost control and the car went off the road, hitting a utility pole. According to the State Police, the subject was acting drunk and later failed the field sobriety tests that were given.
Officials say he was caught and taken to a place where he gave a breath sample that showed a.20% BAC. That is twice as much as what is allowed by law, which is 0.08%. Authorities say the suspect was given a ticket to appear in court later in December and was then let go.
