In a Pennsylvania town, a school crossing guard was arrested on charges of giving drugs to middle school kids.

Kiara Lee, who is 26 years old, was arrested on Tuesday night and is accused of giving marijuana-containing items and electronic cigarettes to kids at Penn Wood Middle School.14

Police told Fox 29 Philadelphia that a student said Lee gave other students vapes more than once and often smoked pot with another student.

Fox 29 also found out from the student’s guardian that Lee had been giving her child vapes and eating marijuana.

Authorities say that text messages between Lee and the student also showed what happened after they ate the sweets.

When it comes to public service, school crossing guards are the best. They are trusted with the lives of our children and are held in high regard in communities across the Commonwealth and the country. “It is very upsetting when someone breaks that trust, and it hurts the health of the whole community,” Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said.

A Penn Wood Middle School mom told Fox 29 that hearing about Lee was very upsetting.

“It’s bad enough that you have to keep your kids away from bad influences, but now I hear that a borough worker would even sell to kids. Maya Bryant said, “It’s crazy.”

“The fact that these people are on these corners to do their job and keep kids safe is a shame. Now you’re telling me that the kids are getting drugs from them?” “It’s horrible,” Malekka Dade, another parent, told Fox 29.

Jail records show that Lee has been charged with several things, including two counts of bribery of children and two counts of having marijuana on his person.

Officials said she couldn’t pay her $20,000 bail.

On June 14, there will be a preliminary meeting.
