CheapNailsalonsnearmeAlaska is gearing up for the opening of the 2024 application period for the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) program. Scheduled to commence in four days, this period will extend until March 31, 2024. The PFD program, a cornerstone of Alaska’s fiscal policy, offers annual direct payments to residents based on the state’s mineral revenues.

Eligibility for the program requires applicants to demonstrate an intention to remain indefinitely in Alaska and to not have any felony convictions. Applications can be submitted either online or via paper forms.

Notably, even previous recipients must reapply within this designated window to receive their payment for the year. The value of the dividend fluctuates yearly, with the 2023 checks amounting to $1,312. This disbursement represented a significant injection of nearly $1 billion into the Alaskan economy.
