After refusing to pay her fare, the passenger launched a violent assault, slashing the driver’s neck with a weapon before fleeing on foot. The injured driver was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he received treatment for a laceration to his neck.

Despite the terrifying ordeal, he was listed in stable condition, recovering from the physical and emotional trauma of the attack. The assailant remains at large, prompting a search by law enforcement authorities. Police have released a photo of the suspect in the hopes of identifying and apprehending her, urging anyone with information to come forward.
