On a seemingly calm Saturday night, four masked individuals shattered the tranquility of Bedford-Stuyvesant by executing a well-planned heist. The target? An ATM machine housed in DA Gas Depot, located at 118 Marcus Garvey Boulevard.
At precisely 8:51 p.m., these individuals, whose identities remain shrouded in mystery, burst into the store. Without hesitation, they embarked on their mission, swiftly maneuvering the ATM machine into a waiting minivan. Their escape was as rapid as their entry, leaving behind a trail of shock and unanswered questions.
The New York Police Department, now spearheading the investigation, disclosed that the exact amount of cash ensnared in the machine is yet unknown. This heist, intriguingly, follows a similar event in Staten Island, where another ATM was stolen just two days prior. Currently, no arrests have been made, and the NYPD is diligently working to unravel this string of ATM thefts.
