The incident, which took place on Lichfield Road in Mile End, saw Abdul Yaro, 19, and Kavian Vaughans, 18, convicted of Gordon’s murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years.
Additionally, Dainnan Witter-Cameron and Giovanni Addae-Johnson, both 18, received eight-year sentences for manslaughter. The Metropolitan Police’s investigation revealed that Gordon was deliberately targeted by the assailants, with evidence including CCTV footage and mobile phone data indicating premeditated intent.
Social media communications further implicated the teenagers in planning the attack, culminating in a tragic chase that ended Gordon’s life on Morgan Street.
