NYC Crime Wave: 7 Migrants Arrested for Series of Robberies, Police Say!
CNS News– The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has arrested seven migrants as part of a crackdown on a citywide cellphone robbery pattern. The operation, which involved a series of raids including one in the Allerton section of the Bronx, targeted a group believed to be responsible for a spate of snatch-and-grab incidents across the city.
The robbers, often operating on scooters, targeted unsuspecting New Yorkers, stealing cellphones and other personal items. The NYPD, alongside Mayor Eric Adams, emphasized that while the city welcomes asylum seekers, criminal activities will not be tolerated, regardless of one’s immigration status.
The arrest of the suspects, including the alleged ringleader Victor Parra, who remains at large, underscores the city’s commitment to public safety and the rule of law. This incident highlights the challenges cities face in managing crime within diverse communities, including migrant populations.

Mayor Adams called for a national solution to address the broader issues of immigration and public safety, stressing that the actions of a few should not tarnish the reputation of the majority of migrants who seek to contribute positively to society.
