CNS News–In a notable development in the Georgia election interference and racketeering case against former President Donald Trump and others, defendant Trevian Kutti is now without legal representation. Kutti, previously a publicist for the artist formerly known as Kanye West, was charged alongside Trump and several others in a case that revolves around allegations of conspiring to overturn Joe Biden’s 2020 electoral victory in Georgia.
Kutti’s attorneys filed a motion to withdraw in December, leaving her to navigate the complex legal landscape on her own. At a recent hearing, Kutti expressed her intention to retain one of her former attorneys, Steve Greenberg, and seek additional counsel. Greenberg, known for representing R&B singer R. Kelly in a federal case, stated that his initial involvement was as a personal favor.
However, due to the magnitude of the case and the anticipated four-month trial duration, he expressed an inability to continue without compensation. The case centers on accusations against Kutti and others, including Black Voices for Trump activist Harrison Floyd and pastor Stephen Cliffgard Lee, of pressuring Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss into making false statements about vote processing.

So far, four defendants in the case, including attorney Jenna Ellis and Sidney Powell, have pleaded guilty.
