According to sources, Grimes denied the man’s request and then proceeded to use a Samurai sword found in the apartment to inflict multiple stab wounds. The victim was reportedly stabbed twice in the face, and once in the shoulder and knuckle.

The individual informed the authorities Grimes made no threatening remarks towards him during the altercation. Later, Grimes left the apartment without indicating where he was going.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and received medical treatment for lacerations measuring 2 and 3 inches. Fortunately, these injuries are not life-threatening.

In 2020, Grimes faced charges of battery and criminal mischief in Volusia County.
