“New Era:” New York City Starts Pilot Program for 4-Day Workweek!

This groundbreaking initiative is designed to cater to employees who are unable to work remotely, offering a flexible schedule of either a consistent four-day week or an alternating four and five-day week, ensuring the total number of work hours over two weeks remains constant.

Over 20,000 DC 37 employees have already been working remotely as part of a previous pilot program, showcasing the city’s commitment to evolving workplace norms.
