This unique program, a collaboration between the Salvation Army and the Alaska National Guard, ensures that the holiday spirit reaches even the most isolated villages.

This year’s operation successfully delivered gifts to children in Fort Yukon, Golovin, Koyuk, and Tuluksak. The program involved meticulous planning, from receiving and wrapping gifts to distributing them across these communities.

Jenni Ragland from the Salvation Army expressed her delight in participating in the operation, emphasizing the joy and unity it brings to Alaskan communities. Similarly, Chaplain (Lt. Col) Kirk Thorsteinson of the Alaska National Guard shared his experiences of cultural exchange and the happiness brought to the villages.
