CHICAGO — Chicago police say that a 14-year-old girl stole four things from the Red Line last month, including three things on the same day. The CPD had already said that a 15-year-old girl was charged with some of the charges. At least two of the men who were involved in the crimes are still on the run.

Police said Saturday that the 14-year-old robbed and beat up a 23-year-old woman on the May 6 at 8:30 p.m. on the Red Line at Cermak-Chinatown.

A second charge is that she hit three CTA riders on the Red Line on May 10. Around 12:04 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was robbed on 95th Street. After about two hours, a 21-year-old woman was taken and hit at Cermak-Chinatown. Then, at 10:45 p.m., six people attacked a 29-year-old man at the 79th Street stop and stole from him, police said.

When cops saw the girl at the Roosevelt station on Friday, they arrested her because they knew her. She is being charged with four counts of robbery and four counts of aggravated battery on a transit rider.

It was reported on May 21 by the CPD that a 15-year-old girl had been charged in all three of the May 10 thefts.
