Scotland: Law Enforcement Rescues Three Vulnerable Children From Transgender Sex Offender’s Locked Home

Authorities had to intervene and gain entry into the residence of an individual who had been convicted of sexual offenses and was harboring three minors.

By the time the police were able to gain entry to the property on April 9, 2023, Ryan Scott had been engaged in inappropriate behavior with one of the 14-year-old girls. 

Authorities also discovered two additional minors inside the residence, both below the age of 16, who acknowledged the occurrence of sexual contact involving the individual in question and the 14-year-old female.

Scott, from Dundee, confessed to participating in inappropriate behavior with a child, including kissing them on the face while they were both partially undressed. 

The individual, who was previously convicted of a similar offense as another person named Coral Scott last year, has been detained for background pre-sentence reports. 

Fiscal depute Charmaine Gilmartin informed Dundee Sheriff Court that officers went to the address at noon on 9 April 2023 due to concerns about the presence of three high-risk vulnerable children.

There was no response to their knocking. Neighbors have confirmed witnessing the accused and three other individuals entering the property.An individual was requested to come and force entry.

Reluctantly, the accused finally arrived and unlocked the door.Three children were inside the house. All individuals were under the age of 16 and were subsequently taken into custody. 

Two of the children provided statements indicating that there had been sexual contact involving the accused and the 14-year-old girl. She verified this.

The court was presented with details of how Scott enticed the young girl to his apartment on Valentine’s Day, fully aware of her age, for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity. 

The 21-year-old, who was born female, later attempted to manipulate the legal process by tormenting the scared schoolgirl with threats of harm. 

In a voice message, Scott warned his victim about the consequences of getting involved in his plans. You’re a disrespectful person. 

Unveiling Unsettling Allegations: A Troubling Encounter With Scott

Scott was accused of making inappropriate comments towards the young girl, and her friend later informed the police that Scott was fully aware of her age, which was just 14 years old. 

Solicitor Morgan Day, representing the defendant, requested that the court consider granting Scott bail. However, Sheriff Alistair Carmichael declined the request and ordered the 21-year-old to remain in custody.

A month prior to the most recent incident, Coral Scott was prohibited by the court from entering into any new relationships without obtaining special permission.

Despite being prohibited from unsupervised contact with children under 16, she was permitted to leave the courtroom without any further consequences, as the sheriff deemed the time spent on remand as sufficient punishment.

Scott, who was most recently held in Polmont, has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be under social work supervision for three years in that case.
