Taylor Swift’s Generosity Shines: Donates £80K to Support Family of Woman Fatally Shot at Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl Parade

A generous donation was made by the star to support the fundraiser for Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a mother of two who tragically lost her life during a violent incident in Missouri, US, on Wednesday.

Swift, who is 34 years old, showed her support for her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce during the game.

Lisa was praised in tributes for her exceptional qualities as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

A fundraiser page stated that Lisa tragically lost her life while celebrating the Chiefs Super Bowl Victory parade.

Eight individuals sustained severe injuries that posed a significant threat to their lives.

The family also informed Elassar that three additional family members, including Lopez-Galvan’s son, sustained injuries in the shooting.

Gunshots rang out towards the conclusion of the gathering in downtown Kansas City, commemorating the Chiefs’ back-to-back Super Bowl victory.

Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves stated on Thursday that the shooting seemed to be the result of a disagreement between multiple individuals. Three individuals were initially apprehended, with one being an adult who was later released.

Two juveniles are currently in police custody. The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office informed Makenzie Koch and Malik Jackson of Fox 4 in Kansas City that no charges have been filed against the suspects at this time. However, they clarified that if and when the suspects are certified to stand trial as adults, they will face charges.

There are a total of 23 victims in the shooting, one of whom is Lopez-Galvan. Kansas City Fire Chief Ross Grundyson provided an update on the condition of the victims, stating that eight of them are in critical condition while seven are in serious condition.

A GoFundMe page was created with an initial target of $75,000 to offer financial assistance to Lopez-Galvan’s family. Since Thursday, it has received over $180,000 from over 1,500 generous donations.
