Yass, a Pennsylvania-based GOP megadonor and early investor in TikTok, made this monumental contribution following Abbott’s prioritization of school vouchers in his legislative agenda. In addition to this, Yass donated $250,000 in October, further cementing his financial commitment to the cause.
His involvement has been a significant shift, as Yass had not previously invested heavily in Texas politics. Governor Abbott’s campaign now boasts a staggering $32 million, with more than $19 million raised since July alone.
