The Motion to Immediately Stop Marilyn Mosby From Practicing Law Was Rejected
Marilyn Mosby was found not guilty by the attorney grievance board and her license to practice law in Maryland was not immediately taken away.
The court papers say “the request for immediate suspension of [Mosby] from the practice of law in Maryland is denied without prejudice.”
Mosby was found guilty of two counts of perjury and one count of lying on a home mortgage application by a jury.
She was given a 12-month home confinement term in May, followed by two more years of supervised release. She was also told to give up her vacation house in Florida.
A judge also told her to do volunteer work in the neighborhood.
Mosby says she is innocent and that she was targeted because of her political views.
