CNS News– Yelp has released its 2024 list of the “Top 100 Seafood Spots” in the country, based on reviews and ratings from its online community. While most entries are located in coastal states, several restaurants in the Midwest and South also made the list.

- Oceana Restaurant – Palm Desert, California
- FreshCo Fish Market & Grill – Miami, Florida
- Joe’s Oyster Bar – Port Isabel, Texas
- Xi Yue Hui Seafood Hot Pot AYCE (All You Can Eat) – Brooklyn, New York
- Seafood Broiler – Norco, California
- Indialantic Seafood Company – Indialantic, Florida
- Scooter’s Fish House – Navarre, Florida
- Portofino – San Francisco, California
- The Crawfish Hut – Burien, Washington
- Stewby’s Seafood Shanty – Fort Walton Beach, Florida
- Albany Fish Company – Albany, Georgia
- Nine Seafood Restaurant – Cerritos, California
- Mariscos Costa Alegre – San Jose, California
- Matunuck Oyster Bar — South Kingstown, Rhode Island
One standout from New York is Xi Yue Hui Seafood Hot Pot AYCE in Brooklyn, which finished 15th on the list. Known for its all-you-can-eat hot pot, the restaurant has earned a 4.7-star rating on Yelp. Other New York restaurants that made the list include Abuqir Seafood in Astoria (26th), Upstate Craft Beer & Oyster Bar in Manhattan (78th), and Hamido Seafood in Astoria (85th).
In total, restaurants from 25 states and D.C. made the list, with California and Florida tying for the most entries at 11 each. North Carolina, South Carolina, and Nevada also had a strong showing, with seven entries each, while Texas had six entries.

Yelp’s rankings were based on criteria including each restaurant’s Yelp ratings and volume of reviews as of December 31, 2023. The list aims to highlight well-reviewed restaurants that offer a diverse range of seafood options, from classic fish dishes to innovative seafood creations.
