Shocking Assault: At McDonald’s, A 76-Year-Old Woman Was Hit in The Face!
CNS News– In a disturbing incident on a Monday afternoon, a 76-year-old woman became the victim of a violent assault inside a McDonald’s restaurant located at 208 Varick Street in the West Village. According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the attack occurred around 4:35 p.m.
when an argument broke out between the elderly woman and another female patron. The nature of their dispute remains unclear, but it escalated to the point where the other woman resorted to physical violence, punching the septuagenarian multiple times in the face.
Authorities are actively searching for the assailant, who was last seen fleeing the scene heading southbound on Sixth Avenue towards Spring Street. The NYPD has released images of the suspect in hopes that members of the public can assist in her identification and apprehension.

The victim sustained minor injuries to her eye as a result of the assault and was subsequently transported to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital for treatment.
