CNS News–In a disturbing development, a former employee of the Disney Cruise Line, Alvin Gonzales, 49, was apprehended in Broward County, Florida, for possession of child pornography. The arrest, which took place on a Wednesday, followed an investigation by a Homeland Security Investigations Task Force.
The investigators discovered an SD card containing over eight minutes of video depicting two minors engaged in sexual activities, which Gonzales possessed as he disembarked from the ship. This discovery came after a tip-off from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to the task force’s action.
The video in question featured a young boy, estimated to be between 8 and 10 years old, and a girl aged between 12 and 14 years. Following these shocking revelations, Gonzales was charged with one count of possessing child pornography and was subsequently booked into the Broward County Jail.

Hailing from the Philippines, Gonzales is currently being held on a $20,000 bond, with an additional immigration hold complicating his legal predicament. In response to these events, Disney Cruise Line has distanced itself from Gonzales, stating that he is no longer associated with the company.
They have also pledged full cooperation with law enforcement authorities as the investigation continues. This case has cast a shadow over the reputed family-friendly brand and has highlighted the critical importance of vigilance and strict background checks in the employment practices of such organizations.
