CNS NewsIn the next eleven days, the last direct payments for February should be sent to Georgian families who are eligible for SNAP benefits. In the Peach State, SNAP benefits started being given out on February 5 and are set to end on February 23. The last two numbers of the recipient’s client ID are used to organize how SNAP payments are sent out.

For example, people whose IDs end in 90–99 can look forward to their rewards next Friday. The exact amount of the payment depends on things like the size of the family, its income, and its assets. The most that a family of one can get is $291. The most that a household of five can get is $1,155, and the most that a household of eight can get is $1,751.

An extra $219 is added to the payment for each person living in the home who is not eight people. This extra amount is given to help larger families, making sure that each person gets more money after the first eight are taken care of.
