New RNC Head Mistakenly Claims America is Better Off than Under Trump!

CNS NewsThe Newly elected Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), Michael Whatley, made headlines after accidentally stating that America is better off now than it was under former President Trump during a Fox News appearance.

Whatley argued that the country is worse off under President Biden’s leadership than it was four years ago with Trump in office. Still, he mixed up his words on air, saying, “We are better off today, or, we will be better off under President Trump than we will under President Biden.”

Since taking over the leadership position, Whatley has initiated a major reset for the party, resulting in the dismissal of over 60 staff members, including senior staff. The layoffs signal a significant change within the party as it prepares to challenge President Biden in the upcoming election.

One of the key issues facing the RNC is whether to fund Trump’s legal bills, as the former president faces numerous legal challenges and substantial fines. Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law and newly elected co-chair of the RNC, has expressed her willingness to spend the party’s funds to support her father-in-law’s reelection campaign.

Whatley justified the layoffs as part of realigning the committee to focus on supporting Trump’s candidacy, now that he has become the party’s presumptive nominee. The party’s future direction and strategy will be closely watched as it navigates the upcoming election cycle.
