CNS News– In just over four weeks, millions of people will get their next monthly Supplemental Security Income payment, which can be worth up to $943 for single filers. The Social Security Administration says that people with a serious condition and limited income will get their April payment on April 1. This is 31 days from now.
To get SSI, a person must be partially or blind or have a “physical or mental condition(s) that seriously limits their daily activities for 12 months or more, or may be expected to result in death.” The most money that each filer can get is based on how each recipient asked for the money.
People who are beneficiaries can file as an individual, a joint, or an important person. The SSA says that one-person filers can get up to $943 a month, two-person filers can get up to $1,415 a month, and important persons can get up to $472 a month. Because of inflation, these numbers are 3.2% more than they were in 2023.
