CNS NewsTuesday, a man with a “steampunk gun blade sword” and a fake FBI badge was caught by police in a Brooklyn synagogue on Thursday. Around 9:30 a.m., 40-year-old Wesley Williams walked into the Congregation Yetev Lev D’Satmar at 152 Rodney St. in Williamsburg with the gun, according to police.

Police say Williams was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a forged document. The sword looks like a steampunk collectible that is being sold on Amazon by a person who sells novelty swords.

The offering for the “gun blade sword” says that the blade is 26 inches long and made of stainless steel. “The Otherworld Steampunk Gun Blade sword is a real work of art. You need it for your collection or role play. The gun handle is beautifully made, and the spinning barrel makes it look like a real gun.
