CNS News– On April 10, some of the former president’s closest associates will host a fundraiser in honor of Trump, who is visiting Georgia for the second time this year. Weeks after his March 9 rally in Rome, which coincided with President Joe Biden’s appearance in Atlanta, the former president is hosting a luncheon event in Atlanta.
Whether he will hold a rally while in Atlanta is still unknown. The campaign did not respond right away. Following its unexpected flip in 2020, Georgia is viewed by the two opponents and their campaigns as one of the few competitive states on the route to November. Georgia was won by Biden, the first Democrat to do so since 1992, and a second victory there would make Trump’s resurgence attempt more difficult.
Expected to add more names to the roster of hosts for the Trump event are former U.S. Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, two Trump supporters who lost to Democrats in the 2021 runoffs that resulted in a change in the Senate’s leadership. In 2022, Perdue ran a Trump-backed gubernatorial bid, but Gov. Brian Kemp crushed him. If Trump is elected to a second term, he might be considered for a Cabinet position.
In 2026, Loeffler is anticipated to contest for governor or the US Senate. The others include Tommy Bagwell, the billionaire in the chicken business; Don Leebern III, a Republican donor and president of a liquor distributor; and Bernie Marcus, the co-founder of Home Depot and major GOP supporter.

Bill White, the leader of the discredited Buckhead Cityhood campaign, is also listed as a co-host. White recently moved to Florida. The invitation suggests a high-end gathering, however, the specifics are still unclear. It cost $250,000 for each couple to host. It costs $6,600 for admission for attendees.
Since being arrested in the Fulton County Jail last year on suspicion of tampering with his 2020 election loss, Trump has only sometimes visited Georgia. However, his campaign sees the state as a “must-win” for his return bid and is planning additional visits in the lead-up to the November election.
