The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, just moments after Dash left the school’s campus on Cauldwell Avenue.

Despite efforts from first responders, Dash succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln. Dash’s untimely death marks the second instance of a teenager falling victim to gun violence in New York City within a week.
