CNS NewsGun violence has once again claimed the life of a young individual in New York City, as Laquai Dash, aged 17, was fatally shot on his way home from Legacy College Prep Charter High School in the Bronx. The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, just moments after Dash left the school’s campus on Cauldwell Avenue.

Despite efforts from first responders, Dash succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln. Dash’s untimely death marks the second instance of a teenager falling victim to gun violence in New York City within a week.
